Lead Save Mode lets you capture a lead without booking an appointment based on a user’s answer.
How It Works
Create a custom question and choose where it appears using Location in Form:
Before Email Input (recommended for early routing)
Before Lead Information Input
Before Appointment Selection
After Appointment Selection
Enter your Question Text, and optionally add:
Question Label (for reporting)
Subtitle (helper text for users)
Enable Lead Save Mode on the question to allow answer-based routing
Under Answer Options:
Add your answer choices
Mark specific answers as Lead Save Only
Behavior:
Default answers → continue to appointment scheduling
Lead Save Only answers → stop the form, save the lead, and skip scheduling
⚠️ Make sure to click Save or your changes will not be applied
Example
Question: How many windows do you need replaced?
2 or less → Lead Save Only (no appointment)
3 or more → continues to appointment scheduling
Setup
Go to Style → Edit Style
Click the pencil + question mark icon to open Customize Questions
Create your question:
Enter Question Text
(Optional) Add a Label and Subtitle
Choose Location in Form (recommended: before email input for early routing)
Enable Lead Save Mode on the question
Under Answer Options, configure each answer:
Default → continues through the normal flow (email → scheduling)
Lead Save Only → stops the form and saves the lead (no appointment)
Click Save to apply changes
Best Practice
Place this question early in the form (ideally before email input) so users are routed before reaching scheduling
Use it as a qualification step to prevent unqualified or low-intent users from booking
Keep the question simple and clear so users can quickly select the correct option
Align answer choices with your actual sales or service workflow (what should book vs. what should not)
When to Use
Not all leads should book appointments
Certain services or products require manual follow-up or consultation first
You want to qualify leads before allowing scheduling
You need to separate different service types into different follow-up paths
You want to reduce unnecessary or low-value appointments
