Creating Markets in HeavySet Tech

In HeavySet Tech, you can create markets to cover specific zip codes and assign markets to appointment availability schedules. This will allow you to manage appointments more easily based on location by creating distinct schedules for sales teams assigned to specific geographic areas.

Creating a Market

To get started, navigate to the CRM Settings menu, open the Schedules expander, and click the Markets menu item. 

Enter a market name to represent the zip codes you would like to cover in the textbox; it could be named for a region or district. Click the Create Market button. 

After creating a market, the new market is selected, and a panel (see the image in the Renaming Market and Working With Zip Codes section) automatically opens up for edits.

Selecting a Market

If you have markets created that you would like to edit, click one of the options in the list below the Markets header. If you would like to delete any markets, click the Delete button for that market. 

Renaming Market and Working With Zip Codes

With a market selected, you have the options to rename it or upload, edit, or delete zip codes. 

If you would like to rename your market, use the textbox, and click the Save Name button.

To upload zip or postal codes, click the Upload button.

The file:

• Must be a .csv
• Should separate each zip code by a consistent delimiter (commas, new lines, semicolons, colons, tabs, pipes)
• Should not have headers

An error will appear if the formatting is incorrect.

Once the file is done processing, the zip codes will be added to the large textbox, and you can edit the added zip codes as you'd like. 

Click the Save ZIPs button to save any changes. 

You also have the option to download the saved zip codes as a CSV file or delete the zip codes that are saved. 

Schedules and Markets

Navigate to the Schedules menu item (also under the Schedules expander).

You may edit existing schedules or create new schedules and assign a market to it (you also have the option to use No Market if your schedule isn't tied to specific geographic areas).

Click the Okay button to save any changes.
