HeavySet Tech sends automated SMS messages at key points in your workflow, including new leads, appointment confirmations, and reminders in the MARKETING → SMS → Automations tab.
You can also create conditional message variations, allowing different messages to be sent based on lead information.
Examples include:
Lead source
Source type
Sales representative
Product interest
Market segment (for supported CRMs)
Example:

This allows campaigns to stay automated while still tailoring messaging to different types of leads.
Configuring New Lead SMS Messages
Navigate to:
MARKETING → SMS → Automations
At the top of the page, select the CRM configuration you want to manage. This determines which CRM the SMS workflow will apply to.
The New Lead SMS tab contains the messages sent when a new lead submits a form.
New Lead Message
Sent immediately after a lead submits a form during business hours.
You can include:
Dynamic fields such as
[[first_name]]Booking or scheduling links
Custom text or emojis
New Lead Message After Hours
Sent when a lead submits a form outside business hours.
This message acknowledges the submission and lets the lead know your team will follow up during business hours.
After editing messages, click Save.
General SMS Workflow Settings
The General Settings tab controls system-wide SMS behavior.
Link Shortening
Automatically shortens links in SMS messages using the hvs.to domain.
Short Link Base URL
Defines the base URL used for shortened links.
Enter the full URL including https://.
Contact support@heavyset.tech if DNS configuration is required.
Notification Email(s)
Email addresses that receive notifications when a recipient replies to an SMS message with anything other than STOP.
Separate multiple addresses with commas.
Notification Email(s) for STOP
Email addresses notified when a recipient sends STOP to unsubscribe.
After editing settings, click Save.
Appointment SMS Messages
The Appointment SMS tab controls messages sent when appointments are created and before the appointment occurs.
New Appointment Message
Sent when an appointment is scheduled.
Supported fields include:
[[first_name]][[appointment_date]][[appointment_time]]
You can also include:
[[ics_url]]
This generates a calendar invite link the recipient can add to their calendar.
New Appointment Message After Hours
Sent when appointments are scheduled outside business hours.
Appointment Reminder — 48 Hours Before
Sent 48 hours before the appointment.
Appointment Reminder — 24 Hours Before
Sent 24 hours before the appointment.
Appointment Reminder — 1 Hour Before
Sent 1 hour before the appointment.
After editing messages, click Save.
Using Dynamic Fields
Dynamic fields automatically insert lead or appointment data into messages.
Format:
